Public WiFi Internet Access

Gritman provides wireless internet access in all areas of the hospital, including lobbies, the Gritman Cafe, the Conference Center, and patient rooms.

Gritman's public wireless internet access uses 802.11g and 802.11b standards. The SSID is gritman_public.

What is WiFi?

Wireless fidelity, otherwise known as wireless networking, commonly uses the 802.11b or the faster 802.11g protocol.

What is a "Hot Spot"?
A "hot spot" is place where a wireless access point provides public, high-speed network services to mobile visitors through a wireless local area network. Hot spots are commonly located in heavily trafficked places like airports, libraries, convention centers and hotels.

What Does It Cost to Use the Gritman "Hot Spot"?
The service is free to our patients and guests.
