Philanthropy is playing an increasingly important role in the healthcare field and at not-for-profit hospitals. At Gritman Medical Center, the Gritman Foundation, a separate 501(c) 3, is a crucial partner in integrating philanthropy into our healthcare and wellness projects.
The Foundation is governed by a 15-member volunteer board whose members work closely with individuals and organizations to make a meaningful difference in our community through philanthropy.
Fundraising in support of Gritman Medical Center is a cornerstone of the Gritman Foundation, whether it is through one-time-events, individual donations or charitable giving through estate planning. Gifts to the Gritman Foundation are tax deductible to the full extend allowable by law and are used for a variety of health and wellness related initiatives including healthcare scholarships awarded annually to local high school and college students as well as current Gritman employees.
This newly formed Foundation committee assists with fundraising efforts in support of hospice patients and their families. Hospice funds raised continue to be used to honor the intent of donors by assisting hospice patients in Latah County.
A gift to hospice is a thoughtful way to remember a friend or a loved one. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. For information about Hospice or on making an outright gift, a gift of appreciated securities, real estate, or a charitable bequest through the estate planning process, please contact Executive Director at (208) 883-6592 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. All gifts made to the Gritman Medical Center Foundation are tax deductible to the full extend allowable by law.
Thank you to our committee members.
