Wellness is a priority at Gritman Medical Center and our Cardiac Rehabilitation program is a key to recovery and wellness.
This physician-referred program is a comprehensive outpatient program designed to help you as you recover from bypass surgery, a heart attack, stents or stable angina. Our exercise specialists and nurses work closely with you and monitor your vital signs while helping you rebuild stamina and strength.
Please check with your insurance about coverage of these services.

If you have undergone any of these diagnoses, our trained exercise specialists and nurses will work with you to rebuild your strength. The individualized cardiac program increases physical fitness in hour-long, supervised sessions, three times a week.
After completion of the individual training program, Gritman Cardiac Rehab offers a maintenance program to help you continue your exercise regimen and maintain your health. Emphasis is placed on endurance and long-term goals to support a healthy lifestyle. Spouses or family members are encouraged to participate with you.

Some diagnosis covered by insurance:
Others may be covered. Please talk with our rehab staff to see if your diagnosis is covered. Exercising alone can be difficult and, for some, dangerous. Our rehab staff can monitor your activity, document your heart rate and blood pressure and help create an exercise program that is right for you, no matter what your fitness level may be. Our staff specializes in helping you control chronic health conditions for a healthier life.
Tuesdays and Thursdays: 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Bone loss is a growing medical concern and one that can be improved. Our exercise specialists have a specially-designed bone-strengthening program involving weight training and aerobic activity.
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays: 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Many people can benefit from a structured exercise program monitored by a healthcare professional. This includes heart disease, weight management, diabetes, coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure and other physician-referred diagnosis.
