Our Services

Respiratory Therapy

Many conditions, both chronic and emergency, are helped by respiratory therapy. Our licensed respiratory therapists are on staff 24 hours a day to work with inpatients who have breathing or cardiopulmonary problems.

We offer a full line of diagnostic testing as well as treatment options. Our care is individualized to meet your needs. We follow this care with education so you can learn how to manage your diagnosis.

Our respiratory therapists are all licensed by the National Board for Respiratory Care and the state of Idaho.

Sleep Therapy

Are you tired all the time? Do you fall asleep in your easy chair? Do you snore? These are common symptoms of sleep disorders and our certified Sleep Lab staff can help.

Our nationally-accredited Sleep Lab is designed with you in mind. Our comfortable, clean sleep rooms provide a relaxing environment for your sleep test. During the test, our qualified staff monitor and document your sleep patterns. Together with Dr. John Grauke, a nationally recognized Sleep Health specialist, sleep disorders are diagnosed.

Together with our staff, you are guided through the many choices available to you for help with sleep disorders. Follow up contact is maintained to ensure your satisfaction and the improvement of your quality of sleep.

Smoking Cessation

Stopping the use of tobacco results in instant improvements to your health. Quitting can be difficult, though.

Gritman offers free tobacco cessation counseling through the only certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist in the region. Jim Parsons was trained at the Mayo Clinic with modern techniques, medical innovations and other skills to help you stop your tobacco use.

Our counseling services are sponsored by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare through the Millenium Fund, a legal settlement from tobacco companies to help defray the cost of tobacco-related medical treatment for Medicare patients.
