Dr. Kenneth Wakefield of Asthma and Allergy of Idaho in Coeur d’Alene sees patients here every other Wednesday. Dr. Wakefield does allergy testing and a nurse from Asthma and Allergy of Idaho visits every Wednesday to give allergy shots. Dr. Stephen Craig from North Idaho Dermatology provides expert skin care and treatments for a wide range of skin conditions—from skin cancer, laser treatments, and mole removal to psoriasis and acne. Disease of the kidney is a growing concern and Gritman strives to provide you the best care. Three times a month Dr. Emily Petersen from Rockwood Kidney and Hypertension Center in Coeur d'Alene sees patients in our Outpatient Clinic. Dr. Petersen is also the medical director of the Fresenius Palouse Dialysis Clinic at Gritman Medical Center, a full-service dialysis clinic. Dr. Bret Dirks of Inland Northwest Spine and Neurosurgery in Coeur d’Alene visits here twice a month. He consults with patients and does pre-op and post-op appointments to relieve patients from having to travel in pain before surgery or just after surgery. Inland Northwest Spine and Neurosurgery also conducts Interventional Pain Management Clinics where pain management shots are given. Each Tuesday St. Joseph Regional Cancer Center provides oncology and Hematology (blood disorders) services at Gritman Medical Center. You can receive your chemotherapy treatment here or have an appointment with your oncologist. A volunteer from the Gritman Cancer Resource Center is also available during this infusion time.
