Massage Therapy

Gritman Massage Therapy is one element of Therapy Solutions, a division of Gritman Medical Center. The remaining elements include Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy. Our mission is to provide the highest quality therapy solutions in order to enhance and promote healthy living. We strive to enhance the well-being and quality of life of individuals of all ages through the application of skilled, professional massage therapy.

We provide outpatient Massage Therapy services by appointment to the general public including: therapeutic massage, pregnancy massage, orthopedic and sports massage, massage therapy for people dealing with chronic pain and illness, hospice massage and on-site chair massage.

For individuals that have been admitted to Gritman’s Family Birth Center, Medical Surgical Unit or Critical Care Unit, complimentary massage therapy is available with a physician referral.

All of Gritman Medical Center’s Massage Therapists hold the National Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB), and are professional members of the American Massage Therapy Association. This credential and professional membership dictates that our individual practitioners are held to a professional code of ethics, and are required to maintain continuing education standards.

Massage Therapy and Insurance
An increasing number of insurance providers are recognizing the advantages and benefits of massage therapy, and coverage is becoming more common-place.

If you have received a prescription for massage therapy from your physician, and would like us to bill your insurance, please call ahead of time. Our insurance specialist will be able to verify whether your policy includes massage therapy as a covered benefit.

Health Intake Forms
If you are a new client to Gritman Massage Therapy, click the Health History link on the left and print off the forms. Please take a few minutes to fill them out as fully as possible prior to your appointment.

Payment
Payment can be made by cash, check or credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. Checks should be made out to Gritman Medical Center. Payment is due at time of service.

Gift Certificates
Gift certificates are available for purchase in fifteen minute (15) increments. They can be purchased at Gritman Medical Center Patient Registration desk (South Wing entrance), Patient Accounting (North Wing entrance), or from the main reception of Therapy Solutions.
