Leadership, responsibility, and great memories are all created through the Gritman Junior Volunteer (JV) program.
Designed for teens, the JV program provides the experience of working in a hospital. The Volunteer Program allows teens to experience work in a hospital setting while learning new skills, building character, and giving back to the community.
Junior Volunteers provide extra touches throughout the hospital that make a substantial difference to our staff and patients.
The program requirements include a commitment of eight hours each month. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities in the JV program, including clerical work, limited patient care, and representing Gritman at community events. The Junior Volunteers also participate in fundraising, community back-to-school and food drives, and provide an extra hand at community outreach classes. Click here to apply.
The Junior Volunteers reinvest the money they raise in the hospital to help with specific needs. Becoming a Junior Volunteer is a great way to learn the value of being part of a team.
