Dr. Adam Kappmeyer was led to a career in medicine after he had the opportunity to be a Junior Volunteer at Gritman Medical Center during high school and fell in love with the physician role. It is always an honor for Dr. Kappmeyer, after having met a patient either in the hospital or in the clinic, when they later refer their whole family to see him. He hopes to be able to build that trust in all his patients.
Dr. Kappmeyer has expertise in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, having extensive training in caring for both hospitalized adults and children as well as caring for patients ages 0 to 110 years old. His philosophy in medicine is to slow down, take time to listen to patients and to practice in a holistic style.
While in medical school, Dr. Kappmeyer received the University of Washington Service Award. Outside of medicine, Dr. Kappmeyer enjoys family time with his wife and two boys. They enjoy the outdoors, drinking coffee and taking road trips. His personal hobbies include bicycling, hiking and growing tropical plants.
