One of Dr. Hazelwood’s fondest moments of his medical career has been serving in the U.S. Air Force. As an orthopedic surgeon he loves having the opportunity to help relieve his patient’s pain and restoring their functionality. “It is such an exciting time to be in orthopedics and sports medicine because of the current technology and innovation.”
After his medical training and military career led him to Chicago, Arizona, and San Diego, Dr. Hazelwood feels fortunate to have returned to practice in the Pacific Northwest near where he originally grew up. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, traveling, golfing, reading, biking, teaching himself the guitar, spending time with his wife and children, and serving as the team physician for the University of Idaho Vandals.
