AHA Heartsaver CPR/AED/Pediatric First Aid

Be ready to protect the children in your care. This course teaches you how to respond quickly to pediatric illnesses and injuries using the latest American Heart Association guidelines.

Key Skills covered include:

• Common issues such as bleeding, burns, allergic reactions, and breathing problems
• Serious conditions including shock, seizures, head or spinal injuries, and drowning
• CPR, AED use, and choking relief for infants and children (optional adult modules available)

Blended Learning Format:
This course includes a self‑paced online module followed by an in‑person skills class approx. 60 minutes. After completing the online portion, students attend a hands‑on session with an AHA Instructor at Gritman Medical Center.

Certification is valid for 2 years.
