Rite Aid pharmacies in Moscow and Pullman will close this June. Gritman patients who list Moscow or Pullman Rite Aid as their preferred pharmacy are asked to inform Rite Aid of their new preferred pharmacy by Tuesday, June 10.
Patients who do not initiate a transfer will have their prescriptions transferred to the following locations:
- Moscow Rite Aid – Transferred to Moscow Walgreens beginning Tuesday, June 10.
- Pullman Rite Aid – Transferred to CVS Spokane beginning Monday, June 30.
Prescriptions and their refills remaining at Rite Aid will be transferred to the above locations or to the patient’s requested new pharmacy of choice. There is no need to request a new prescription unless requested by the new pharmacy.
Note on Controlled Substances
Prescriptions for a Schedule II Controlled Substance cannot be transferred. Gritman patients who are prescribed a Schedule II Controlled Substance must make a request to their Primary Care Provider to have the pharmacy updated.
Insurance Preference
Prescription insurance carriers may have a preferred pharmacy for their patients. Please check with your insurance carrier to see if they recommend a preferred pharmacy that is an alternative to Rite Aid.
