Neurosurgeon Dr. Nicholas Levine has seen the results his surgeries have had on his patients suffering with longstanding brain and spine conditions.

“I can remember a couple coming into clinic after the husband had undergone a decompression surgery for his low back. He had had difficulty walking,” Dr. Levine remembers. “Before I could even sit down, his wife gave me a hug and said ‘Thank you for giving us our life back. We are now able to take walks together and spend time together.’ It’s really how you affect not just the patient’s life but the family’s life.”

A fellowship-trained neurosurgeon, Dr. Levine comes to Gritman with decades of experience in cranial and spinal neurosurgery.
