Gritman, Young Artists Partner To Brighten Infusion Space

Gritman Medical Center was fortunate to partner with eight young artists in Spring 2024 to create bright paintings and art pieces that grace the walls of our Outpatient Infusion rooms on the second floor of Gritman Medical Center.

The students were with the Work of Art program, which pairs artists aged 14-21 with a community-based organization to help create an artistic project for the community. All eight artists are from Moscow.

Each artist created the pieces for patients to look at when getting routine infusion treatments, which often require multiple follow-up visits. Each art piece was painstakingly created with intricate detail to allow the viewer to find new elements with repeated viewing.

Thank you to the Work of Art students, as well as teachers Theresa Carter and Julene Ewert, for this wonderful contribution. We would also like to thank the 1912 Center for providing the workspace for the students to create their art.

Work of Art is a program of Idaho Parents Unlimited, serving families since 1985. The Work of Art program is made possible with the support The Idaho Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.
