Here for our Community

We have a responsibility to offer access to health care services, regardless of ability to pay. Over the past five years, Gritman has provided millions of dollars in charity care to individuals in our region. Learn more about our financial assistance programs.

We also offer free, unlimited access to the Gritman Online Clinic through our partnership with Healthwise. Healthwise is a leading, nonprofit provider of easy-to-understand, evidence-based health information you and your family can trust.

Whether you’re taking care of yourself at home or preparing to visit our hospital or clinics, the Gritman Online Clinic helps you check your symptoms, learn about conditions and evaluate treatment options to make the best decision. The Gritman Online Clinic is always open and up-to-date. Content is reviewed by leading medical experts and written in a way that makes it easy to understand and take action. The information is designed to help you along your health journey, but not replace the care you receive from a licensed health professional.

The Women’s Imaging Center features the latest 3D imaging, mammography and biopsy technology.

Advocating for Health and Wellness

Our commitment to the community means investing in your overall wellness. Whether it’s offering free mammograms through the Bosom Buddies program or helping cancer patients through the Light a Candle program, we want to be your partner in leading the healthiest life possible.

Gritman offers numerous classes and outreach events, including free and low-cost fitness classes, wellness screenings, blood pressure clinics, smoking cessation classes and support groups for caregivers. If you want to be a part of making these programs possible, visit our giving page and make a tax-deductible gift to the Gritman Foundation.

Helping our Community Flourish

Gritman Medical Center supports numerous organizations and events throughout the year across the Palouse and surrounding communities. As an independent, nonprofit, community-led hospital, we try to spread our contributions to as many organizations as possible that fit within our mission, vision and values.
