Jennifer Rouse, APRN-FNP specializes in family medicine and is now seeing patients at Gritman's QuickCARE clinic. Jennifer received an undergraduate degree (RN) from the University of Arkansas in 2007 and another undergraduate degree (BSN) from Western Governors University in 2017. In 2020 Jennifer received a graduate degree (MSN-FNP) from Herzing University. Jennifer was certified in Family Practice by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in 2021.

Jennifer began working in healthcare at the young age of 17 as a CNA and hasn’t looked back since! She has been a registered nurse since 2007 and has over 10 years of emergency room experience. She initially joined the Gritman Medical Center team in 2012 working in the Emergency Department. Jennifer has received two awards of excellence in her work related to research in healthcare in rural populations as well as a dean recognition for her performance on a bioscience and healthcare assessment.
Jennifer’s family moved to Orofino in 1996 when her father took a job at the University of Idaho and she has no intention of ever leaving the area she loves. Jennifer is a mother of four and enjoys Idaho’s wonderful outdoor recreation by fishing, hunting, and hiking.
