Q: I receive services at another health care facility that uses Epic and MyChart. Will I be able to connect my different hospital accounts within the app?

A: Yes! There is an option within the MyChart app to link your accounts from Gritman and other health care facilities. Your providers at other facilities that use Epic will also be able to see important information from your Gritman record, like visit notes and test results, for visits that take place after Epic goes live at Gritman.

We will continue to offer phone support for our patient portal during normal business hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday.

Robin SautterEpic is the nation’s No. 1 Electronic Health Record, allowing Gritman providers to access their patients’ medical records from hospitals and specialists across the country.

Gritman Family Medicine and OB Provider Dr. Robin Sautter was treating a pediatric patient with a complex medical history shortly after the Epic transition and said she was able to quickly pull up records from multiple specialists in Spokane.

“Even before meeting the patient, I was able to see this patient’s past medical history including surgeries, medication list, and follow-up plan for these specialists,” she said. “This information helped formulate our plan for admission and better treat the patient as a whole with all the details from the very beginning.”
